Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s field team and become the face of cutting‑edge smart‑home technology. You will install, service, and sell intelligent home solutions that keep customers safe, connected, and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation equipment in residential settings.
• Assess customers’ homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services that enhance safety and convenience.
• Provide hands‑on training to homeowners so they can operate their new smart‑home system confidently.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities using company‑provided tools.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable working independently in a field environment and managing a daily schedule.
• Willingness to learn both technical installation and consultative sales techniques.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Setup of home automation and smart‑home systems.
• Basic cable or satellite installation experience (preferred).
