Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional in Columbia, SC, where you will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver cutting‑edge smart home solutions. You will be the face of the brand, installing devices and helping customers protect and automate their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of appointments.
• Willingness to learn sales techniques and product knowledge.

Required skills

• Experience with security cameras installation.
• Knowledge of smart lock configuration.
• Familiarity with home automation system setup.
• Basic installation and troubleshooting abilities.
