About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology while helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential properties.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades that enhance safety and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on the operation of their new smart home system to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.
• Drive a company‑provided vehicle to appointments, logging drive time from home.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical skills on the job; prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control, or solar is helpful.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and maintenance of home automation systems.
