Field Reimbursement Manager (National)

About the role

Stratis Group, an independent pharmaceutical consulting firm, seeks a National Field Reimbursement Manager to support provider and patient access across a dedicated territory. The role involves client‑facing education, reimbursement issue resolution, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily activities that ensure patient access to client products in provider offices and act as a liaison to HUB, call center, and specialty pharmacy services.
• Provide in‑person visits as an extension of the client’s HUB, delivering education on formulary coverage, insurance forms, prior authorizations, appeals, and claims resolution.
• Serve as the payer expert for the assigned geography, communicating payer changes to stakeholders promptly.
• Review patient case information in a compliant manner and educate office staff on web‑based provider portals and patient support programs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Managed Care, Field Reimbursement, Patient Services, or Specialty/Biologic sales.
• 4‑year degree or 8+ years in related healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical roles.
• Ability to travel 3‑4 days per week, including overnight trips, and reside within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to submit expense reports timely.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
• Expertise in CMS policies, especially Medicare Part B and Part D.
• Experience with specialty/biologic products and complex reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency using CRM systems to log call activity.
