Field Recruiter – Retail Store Management

About the role

The Field Recruiter will own the full‑life‑cycle hiring process for store management positions across New York and the surrounding Northeast region. Working remotely from New York City, you will partner with regional and district managers to attract, evaluate, and onboard high‑quality talent that aligns with A&F Co.’s brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for store management roles, from posting to onboarding.
• Design and execute localized attraction strategies to source top talent.
• Collaborate closely with Regional, District and Store managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Provide a best‑in‑class candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Summarize candidate feedback and present hiring recommendations to District Managers.
• Leverage data and analytics to continuously improve recruiting outcomes.
• Train store teams on recruiting tools, processes, and interview techniques.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as employer branding, new store openings, and analytics initiatives.
• Travel up to 35 % of the time for recruiting events, university engagements, and on‑site training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition or related recruiting roles.
• Proven ability to develop and execute market‑specific talent acquisition strategies.
• Strong networking skills, both digital and in‑person.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑changing environment.
• Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional partners.
