Field Business Development Executive – Government & Education

About the role

The Field Business Development Executive will focus on acquiring new government and education customers for Konica Minolta’s solutions. Working primarily in the field, you will prospect, meet prospects in person, and guide opportunities through the full sales cycle to secure signed contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new government and education accounts, securing in‑person appointments.
• Conduct early discovery meetings to understand client priorities and qualify opportunities.
• Present solutions, prepare quotes/proposals, and negotiate terms to close deals.
• Maintain detailed records of activities, contacts, and pipeline in the CRM system.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet prospects and customers at their locations.
• Hand off closed opportunities to Customer Success with comprehensive documentation.
• Achieve or exceed targets for pipeline generation, new customer acquisition, and revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven B2B field sales or business development experience, preferably with government or education clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily travel.
• Ability to work independently, manage a full sales cycle, and meet performance goals.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools for lead management and activity tracking.
