About the role
This Federal Work‑Study position supports the Admissions Office at Gwinnett Technical College. Working under close supervision, you will provide clerical assistance and serve internal and external customers while gaining experience in higher‑education administration.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organizing routine activities and special projects for the Admissions Office.
- Make copies of materials, handle inquiries, and provide information about the college.
- Support department personnel with various administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College, in good academic standing, and eligible for Federal Work‑Study funds.
- Available to work approximately 19 hours per week.
- One to two years of office experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard computer programs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and use sound judgment.
- Strong customer‑service orientation for both internal and external stakeholders.
