About the role

This Federal Work Study position supports the Transportation Department at East Texas A&M University. The role is ideal for a motivated student who enjoys varied daily activities and wants hands‑on experience with campus fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

Assist with maintaining office fleet vehicles and carts, including fueling and cleaning.
Move carts, fleet vehicles, and shuttle buses as needed.
Provide quality customer service to campus users.
Collaborate and communicate regularly with the supervisor.
Participate in various projects to broaden skill sets.

Required profile

Motivated student who enjoys new and different activities each day.
Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and with others.
Valid driver’s license.
