About the role
The Federal Work Study Student will support daily operations at the Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Career Center. Working off‑campus, the student will assist unemployed and underemployed individuals by providing information, guidance, and administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and engage visitors and callers.
- Perform reception duties, answer phones, and take messages.
- Collect client information and record it in the center’s client management system.
- Maintain knowledge of career center and community resources.
- Assist clients in using resources and provide appropriate guidance.
- Enter data, file documents, photocopy, and manage mass mailings.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College.
- Completed FAFSA and eligible for federal work‑study aid.
- Submitted a Federal Work‑Study Employment Application.
