About the role
The Federal Work Study Student will support the College Library on the Columbus Technical College campus. This part‑time position offers hands‑on experience in library operations while you continue your studies.
Key responsibilities
- Check‑in periodicals and process library materials.
- Operate computer systems for material circulation.
- Shelve, inventory, and perform shelf reading.
- File, type, and enter data.
- Handle mail delivery, courier duties, and answer telephone calls.
- Provide guidance, directions, and answer patron questions.
- Open and close the library and assist with special projects.
Required profile
- Enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College.
- Completed FAFSA and eligible for federal aid.
- Submitted a Federal Work‑Study Employment Application.
Required skills
- Basic computer system operation.
- Data entry and typing proficiency.
