About the role
Join the Admissions team at Athens Technical College as a Federal Work Study student. This part‑time position supports phone and office duties while you continue your studies. You will gain valuable experience in higher‑education admissions and develop professional communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, make outbound calls, and assist with internal and external program inquiries.
- Assist with orientations and testing activities for prospective students.
- Operate various office machines and perform basic computer work using Microsoft Office and internet research.
- Complete errands on campus as needed.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and maintaining that enrollment.
- Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements and have a completed FAFSA for the current aid year.

What we offer
- $10.00 per hour maximum compensation.
- 19.5‑hour work week with no State of Georgia benefits.
