Family Nurse Practitioner – Rural Community Health Center

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our rural community health center in Seward, Alaska. The role focuses on family medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health, offering a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across all ages.
• Conduct comprehensive exams, wellness visits, and urgent care appointments.
• Collaborate with specialists and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Participate in program oversight, community health initiatives, and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Alaska licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 5 years of primary‑care experience, with at least 3 years in a rural setting.
• Relevant certifications; preferred experience in women’s health and pediatrics.

• Alaska Nurse Practitioner licensure.

• Salary range $130,000–$155,000 per year.
