Family Nurse Practitioner – Part‑Time (Baltimore)

About the role

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, client‑centered primary and preventative healthcare services to individuals enrolled in outpatient mental health and supportive housing programs. The role includes conducting medical evaluations, medication management, patient education, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled face‑to‑face somatic medical evaluations, annual physicals, and follow‑up appointments for clients enrolled in Community Wellness programs.
• Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice following full evaluations.
• Document all clinical encounters in ICANotes and ensure accurate CPT coding for billing.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide leadership in interdisciplinary care planning, peer review, quality assurance, and regulatory preparedness.

Required profile

• Self‑starter, organized, clinically skilled in primary care/somatic healthcare, and collaborative across multidisciplinary teams.
• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (or Somatic Nurse Practitioner) able to bill CPT codes 99202‑99215 and comply with COMAR regulations.

• Proficiency with ICANotes electronic health record system.
• Accurate CPT coding for somatic services.
