Family Medicine Physician – Emergency & Women’s Health

About the role

Woman’s Hospital is seeking Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Family Medicine physicians who are passionate about Emergency Medicine and Women’s Health. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available in a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care in a low‑volume 10‑bed Emergency Department, treating general emergencies and pregnant patients under 20 weeks gestation.
• Serve as the in‑unit obstetrician, managing all OB emergencies and patients beyond 20 weeks gestation, 24/7.
• Work in the Woman’s Assessment Center handling urgent labor, obstetric/gynecologic conditions, surgical emergencies, and care for sexual assault victims (14+ years).
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, women‑focused care.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Strong interest in Emergency Medicine and women’s health.
• Flexibility to work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts, full‑ or part‑time.
• Ability to manage obstetric emergencies and acute surgical cases.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Meditech EMR (transitioning to EPIC in 2024).
• Experience using EPIC EMR (future implementation).
