Family Law Paralegal – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling divorce, custody, child support, alimony, paternity and related matters. This fully remote, full‑time position requires strong litigation experience, excellent drafting abilities, and the capacity to manage emotionally sensitive cases with professionalism and discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony and paternity.
• Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas and client correspondence.
• Prepare financial affidavits, mandatory disclosures, asset and liability schedules, and organize related documentation.
• Manage discovery, document collection, review, organization and production.
• Prepare and coordinate hearing, mediation, deposition and trial materials.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates and coordinate next steps.
• Track court and discovery deadlines, submit electronic filings and maintain accurate digital case files.
• Conduct legal and factual research and produce case summaries, chronologies and exhibit lists.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal, lawyer or attorney.
• At least 2 years of dedicated family law paralegal work in a U.S. law firm.
• Proven ability to draft family‑law pleadings, motions and discovery.
• Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and family‑court procedures.
• Experience preparing materials for hearings, mediations, depositions and trials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strict confidentiality.
