Facility Technician - Part-Time Event Support

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a part-time, event-based Facility Technician for SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. The role supports the maintenance, general cleaning, setup and breakdown of event spaces so the arena stays safe, operational and event-ready. It reports to the Director of Operations and involves hands-on facility work, grounds care and event support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, gates, fencing, doors, plumbing fixtures, lighting and irrigation systems
• Conduct safety inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Repair or replace worn surfaces such as flooring, drywall, fencing and ceiling tiles
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, wall patching, plumbing repairs, re-lamping and basic electrical repairs
• Provide minor service to air conditioning systems and assist with fire alarm systems, field equipment and lighting
• Complete work orders and summarize daily tasks for the Director of Operations
• Support event setup and breakdown, including seating, room setups, signage and power drops
• Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces and help with snow removal and landscaping
• Safely operate power tools and follow safety policies and PPE requirements
• Work on-call, weekends, holidays and during events as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous facility maintenance or building operations experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced event environment

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay is competitive and hourly, commensurate with experience.
