Facility Manager – Operations Leader for Organic Recycling Plant

About the role

Denali is seeking a Facility Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at one of its organic recycling facilities in North Carolina. The role oversees receiving, processing, bagging and selling of organic materials while ensuring safety, environmental compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies to meet budget and performance targets.
• Lead a team of managers, supervisors, operators and drivers, handling hiring, training, performance evaluation and development.
• Coordinate all facility activities including receiving, depackaging, composting, processing, testing, bagging, shipping and sales.
• Maintain daily operational reports and key performance metrics.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors to support efficient operations.
• Collaborate with General Manager, Assistant GM and leadership to drive continuous improvement and high‑quality product delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a large‑scale facility or plant, preferably in recycling, waste or organic material processing.
• Strong understanding of P&L responsibility, budgeting and financial performance analysis.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate diverse operational teams.
• Commitment to safety, environmental regulations and Denali’s core values.
