Facility Manager

About the role

Denali, the leading organic recycling company, is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee daily operations at one of its North Carolina facilities. You will be responsible for managing the receipt, processing, bagging, and sale of organic materials while ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of managers, supervisors, operators, and drivers to achieve safe and efficient operations.
• Manage all aspects of the facility P&L, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate receiving, depackaging, composting, processing, testing, bagging, and shipping activities.
• Develop and maintain daily operational reports and key performance metrics.
• Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships to support cost‑effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with General Manager, leadership team, and cross‑functional groups to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a production or processing facility, preferably in recycling or organic waste.
• Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and developing staff.
• Ability to analyze financial performance and meet budget objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to convey expectations and performance metrics.
