About the role

UHealth at the University of Miami is hiring full‑time facilities maintenance professionals to support patient care, research and daily operations across its medical campus in Miami. The team maintains building systems, equipment and infrastructure in a fast‑paced academic health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures to ensure uninterrupted clinical and research activities.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Document work orders, inspections and service reports accurately.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience ranging from 3 to 5 years depending on the specific role.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Required certifications such as Journeyman or Master Electrician, Licensed Plumber, or HVAC Mechanical license as listed for each position.
