Facilities HVAC Operator - Sr

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank is seeking a Senior Facilities HVAC Operator to join its Plant Operations team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, testing, and monitoring of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing equipment.
• Execute preventive and urgent maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, and related components.
• Maintain accurate logs for pressure vessels, boilers, and chillers to verify compliance.
• Assist other trades and departments, including cash, carpentry, mechanics, and electricians, as needed.
• Work rotating weekends to ensure continuous system reliability.

Required profile

• 5‑9+ years of hands‑on experience with commercial HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman certification preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating weekend schedules.
