About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking an Extra Help Athletics Trainer to join its Nursing and Allied Health staff on a temporary fixed‑term basis. This position supports the campus athletics program by providing health‑related assistance to student‑athletes.

Key responsibilities

Provide basic health and injury assistance during athletic activities.
Assist the primary athletics trainer in monitoring student‑athlete wellness.
Maintain records of treatments and follow university health protocols.

Required profile

Current or former employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants) who can log into Workday.
Background in nursing, allied health, or related field.
Ability to work on the Pine Bluff campus.

Required skills

Knowledge of basic athletic training and first‑aid procedures.
