Export Controls Specialist

About the role

Radiant Nuclear is seeking an Export Controls Specialist to lead international compliance for its portable nuclear microreactor technology. The role blends legal, regulatory and technical expertise to ensure safe, compliant delivery of advanced energy solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Classify all Radiant products and components for export under ITAR, EAR and related regulations.
• Advise supply‑chain and engineering teams on export control, sanctions and licensing requirements during procurement.
• Review internal documents, marketing materials and public releases for export‑control and intellectual‑property risks.
• Prepare, submit and manage export‑control licensing applications and ongoing reporting obligations.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in export controls, trade compliance, sanctions or related regulatory fields.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ITAR, EAR, Part 810, Part 110 and OFAC compliance.
• Experience drafting and implementing Technology Control Plans.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as mission demands.
