Export Control Compliance Manager

About the role

Join the Custom Solutions team at Satair, an Airbus business, to lead export‑control compliance for aerospace projects. You will ensure that every product development step meets export regulations, preventing delays, extra costs, or legal penalties.

Key responsibilities

• Support business units to deliver compliant and timely exports.
• Monitor and interpret changes in national and international export‑control laws, including ITAR and EAR.
• Liaise with government authorities and provide permanent advice, tools, and training to relevant functions.
• Maintain intelligence on end‑use countries and customers.
• Prepare export documentation and obtain necessary export licences.
• Oversee release of deliveries, including physical checks, classification and administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in export‑control compliance within the aerospace or aviation sector.
• Strong understanding of ITAR, EAR and related regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and government agencies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
