Experienced Mercedes-Benz Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mercedes‑Benz (and optionally BMW) diagnostic technician to join our independent repair facility in Portland. The position offers a dealership‑level salary and a steady mix of diagnostics, maintenance, and fast‑moving repairs on late‑model vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic repairs and routine maintenance on Mercedes‑Benz and BMW vehicles.
• Use authorized Xentry and ISTA tools to diagnose, code, and update vehicle software.
• Process customer‑pay jobs through the CDK (ADP) repair order system.
• Utilize the Hunter Wireless Alignment Rack and other dealer‑grade special tools.
• Maintain accurate flagged hours and ensure high shop cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience with Mercedes‑Benz (and preferably BMW) diagnostics.
• Dealership training or equivalent independent‑shop experience.
• Ability to work full‑time Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm.
• Commitment to using OEM parts and following factory procedures.
