About the role
We are looking for an experienced Audit Associate to join our US audit team. The role will involve performing audit engagements for clients, including Japanese companies, across several major cities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct audit fieldwork and testing for Japanese and other corporate clients.
- Prepare audit documentation and workpapers in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and communicate findings to senior staff.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of recent audit experience in public accounting, with exposure to Japanese companies.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and audit/review procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities.
- Team player with willingness to travel.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in Japanese.
Required skills
What we offer
- Annual salary range of $65,000 – $80,000.
