Expeditor - Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion

About the role

The expeditor communicates orders and information between the front of house and the back of house, ensuring that food is cooked in the correct order, efficiently and presented correctly to guests. The role is based at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford.

Key responsibilities

• Follow opening and closing procedures and food preparation assignments.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure items are delivered accurately.
• Keep work areas safe, neat and sanitary, and keep the kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely.
• Lead the food runners and coordinate accurate delivery of orders.
• Adhere to company appearance and uniform standards and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
• Able to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Required skills

• Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
