Expedite Shipment Coordinator

About the role

R+L Carriers is looking for an Expedite Shipment Coordinator to join its Ypsilanti office on the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 12 PM‑8 PM). The role ensures that time‑critical shipments are processed quickly and accurately, acting as the primary liaison between customers, local operations, and the transportation network.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and review shipping documents with precision.
• Track live shipments, provide status updates, and support on‑time performance.
• Proactively resolve freight service delays and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and conclude daily office activities responsibly.

Required profile

• Two years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or freight logistics.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Positive attitude that contributes to a collaborative culture.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
