Executive Director – Senior Living Community

About the role

Hammond Square is looking for an Executive Director to lead its senior living community. The role combines operational oversight, financial stewardship, and resident-focused leadership to ensure a high‑quality living environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, open‑door atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.
• Lead by example with clear communication and meticulous attention to resident care.
• Set and monitor quality‑assurance standards and nurture family relationships.
• Oversee all operational areas including care delivery, food service, and facilities management to meet or exceed Navion’s standards.
• Direct hiring, training, and supervision of a high‑performing team.
• Manage financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance for the community.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Active Assisted Living Administrator license in the state of employment.
• Prior experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in senior living.
• 1‑2 years of senior‑living management experience overseeing at least 10 staff members.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Proven ability to manage operating expenses of $1 M+ annually (preferred).
• Experience in sales or business development (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
