Executive Director – Senior Living Community

About the role

The Executive Director leads all aspects of daily operations for a senior living community, ensuring exceptional resident care, strong financial performance, and a vibrant workplace culture. This role reports to the Regional Vice President of Operations and is responsible for delivering high‑quality services in a compliant, safe, and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee service provision, financial management, human resources, licensure compliance, clinical care, sales, marketing, and census development.
• Maintain operational efficiency, resident satisfaction, and associate engagement while meeting or exceeding budgeted financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and prioritize employee and resident safety.
• Lead marketing and sales initiatives to drive community occupancy and brand positioning.
• Foster a cohesive, high‑morale team with strong staff retention.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level leadership experience in senior living or comparable residential care settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage residents, families, and staff.
