About the role

The Executive Director / CEO leads the Children’s Advocacy Center in Pasco County, guiding strategy, operations, and program delivery to prevent and heal child abuse and trauma. This senior executive position combines compassionate leadership with disciplined execution to ensure long‑term sustainability and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement organizational strategy, financial plans, and operational policies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, grant management, and compliance with funding requirements.
• Lead fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, and revenue development initiatives.
• Build and maintain community partnerships, government relations, and stakeholder networks.
• Ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based services for children and families impacted by abuse.
• Guide and mentor staff, manage organizational change, and uphold board governance.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, human services, healthcare, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in child advocacy, trauma‑informed care, and victim services.
• Proven track record in financial management, grant compliance, and operational performance.
• Experience leading fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnership efforts.
• Strong communication skills, public speaking ability, and board reporting experience.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and personal integrity.
