Executive Director – Camp Baer Launch

About the role

Wise Path Recovery Centers is opening Camp Baer, a retreat‑style substance‑use disorder treatment program in Morgantown, West Virginia. We are seeking an Executive Director to lead the center from pre‑opening through launch and long‑term operational excellence, shaping culture, building the leadership team, and establishing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for Camp Baer, ensuring alignment with Wise Path’s mission and values.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor the founding leadership team and staff.
• Design and implement operational systems, clinical protocols, and quality‑assurance processes before opening.
• Foster community partnerships and represent the program with local stakeholders.
• Oversee budgeting, finance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure an exceptional client and family experience through compassionate, evidence‑based care.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or related healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale new programs from the ground up.
• Strong operational discipline combined with a compassionate, mission‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
