Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of property events, ensuring a seamless experience from sales through post‑event follow‑up. Based at our New Orleans location, you will act as the primary liaison between customers, sales teams and property operations to deliver high‑quality events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all event documentation, coordinating with sales, property departments and clients.
• Oversee event logistics and operations, ensuring smooth turnover from sales to service and back.
• Manage group room blocks, meeting space allocations, and billing accuracy, conducting final bill reviews with clients.
• Identify operational challenges and develop solutions in partnership with property staff and customers.
• Participate in site inspections, support the sales process, and gather post‑event feedback for continuous improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the event lifecycle, maintaining regular communication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event‑management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Proven ability to manage events of average complexity and to upsell enhancements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
