About the role

Bisnow is seeking an Event Manager to lead live commercial‑real‑estate events in the Washington, D.C. area. This hybrid position blends on‑site coordination with occasional travel to the Carolinas or Nashville, offering a clear path for career growth within a fast‑moving B2B media platform.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all on‑site logistics for Bisnow live events in the DMV market, including venues, AV, catering, and party rentals.
• Confirm vendor contracts, manage tight deadlines, and maintain relationships with venue staff and suppliers.
• Handle registration materials, name‑tags, signage, and ensure smooth guest check‑in.
• Process on‑site ticket requests and charges using Bisnow’s Square account.
• Liaise with sponsoring clients to guarantee satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
• Provide social‑media, video, photo, and sponsor presentation support to internal marketing and sales teams.
• Set up and dismantle event equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Research competing conferences to inform scheduling decisions.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of live event coordination or management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self‑discipline and organizational skills.
• Positive, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Flexibility to travel monthly and adapt to a high‑energy sales environment.
• Dependability and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Square for ticketing and payment processing.
