European Equity Sales Executive Director

About the role

Santander is seeking an Executive Director to lead European Equity Sales. The role focuses on business development across Europe, serving institutional investors, hedge funds, and asset managers with a full suite of equity products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and retention of existing client relationships while originating new business opportunities.
• Lead equity research sales efforts targeting institutional clients across Europe.
• Provide market insights, trade ideas, and execution capabilities as the primary client interface.
• Partner with trading, research, and banking teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop and execute sales strategy and client coverage across European markets.
• Oversee preparation of marketing materials, client presentations, and roadshow content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equities sales or related roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in European equity markets, products, and institutional client coverage.
