Estimator – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

Clean Response, Inc. seeks an experienced estimator to produce accurate Xactimate estimates for residential and commercial disaster‑restoration projects. You will work in a high‑volume environment, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely project transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Write detailed scopes of work and estimates using Xactimate for repair and reconstruction.
• Produce estimates that meet insurance and third‑party approval while maintaining profit margins.
• Negotiate, settle, and finalize estimates with relevant parties.
• Manage project finances, including budgeting, purchasing, and collections.
• Generate work orders for subcontractors and in‑house crews and oversee crew activities.
• Process invoices for the accounting department and input daily progress into project management software.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years full‑charge residential and commercial construction estimating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; clean driving record and criminal background check.
• Ability to handle stress, prioritize multiple tasks, and work flexible hours, including occasional 24‑hour emergencies.
• Residence within 40 minutes of the Twin Cities, Minnesota corporate location.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xactimate.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Sage Contractor 100, Restoration Manager, and BambooHR.
