Escrow Officer – Home Ownership Specialist

About the role

As an Escrow Officer you will serve as the essential link between buyers, sellers, agents and lenders, guiding real‑estate transactions from contract review through closing. You will ensure all paperwork, titles, taxes and funding are handled accurately and on schedule, providing a smooth, reliable experience for all parties.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, verify clean titles, and ensure taxes are paid.
• Coordinate with lenders, underwriters and surveyors to secure funding and complete transactions.
• Maintain detailed escrow files, ensuring all documents are complete and error‑free.
• Build and nurture relationships with agents, attorneys, lenders and government agencies.
• Provide white‑glove service to agents and buyers, including presence at closings.
• Train and supervise escrow assistants, delegating tasks and auditing work.
• Identify and resolve potential issues to avoid delays.

Required skills

• Notary public certification.
• Escrow officer license.
• Proficiency with escrow and title software (e.g., computer skills).
