ERP Platform Developer – Workday & Ariba Integrations

About the role

This position focuses on designing, building, and maintaining integrations and custom applications that connect Workday and SAP Ariba with internal and external systems. You will work on modern integration practices and support the strategic transition to SAP Ariba’s Business Technology Platform, enhancing enterprise resource planning capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations between Workday, Ariba, and external systems using Workday Studio, Connectors, EIBs, Web Services, and Orchestrate.
• Develop and sustain custom Workday Extend applications to extend platform functionality.
• Support integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP Ariba, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Build and optimise master and transactional data integrations within Ariba.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integration environments.
• Contribute to SAP Ariba BTP transition initiatives, adopting Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Apply software‑engineering principles throughout the integration lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Provide on‑call support, resolve issues promptly, and implement monitoring, alerting, and error‑handling procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of Workday integration development experience or 3‑5 years of Ariba integration experience.
• Strong background in managing master and transactional data integrations.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors and internal teams on data‑related inquiries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
