Equipment Rental Coordinator

About the role

The Equipment Rental Coordinator ensures that the SR400 Express Lanes project in Atlanta has the right construction equipment available when needed. You will manage the full rental lifecycle, from order receipt to return, while controlling costs and supporting project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, and track equipment rental orders, confirming vendor availability.
• Coordinate delivery, pick‑up, and return of rented machines, ensuring accurate on‑rent and off‑rent dates.
• Monitor rental rates, perform rate analysis, and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Prepare and review rental agreements, verifying terms, rates, and insurance requirements.
• Manage monthly billing, allocate costs to the correct project cost codes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Collaborate with yard, transportation, and field teams to meet on‑site equipment needs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records for all rented equipment and attachments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in equipment rental, procurement, logistics, or related administrative support, preferably in construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple rental contracts simultaneously.
