Equipment Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift

About the role

The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely running material‑handling equipment to keep our distribution center moving efficiently. You will support inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory flow, and help ensure a clean, hazard‑free warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate sit‑down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, and organize goods to maintain warehouse flow and stability.
• Load and unload trucks, supporting both inbound and outbound operations.
• Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Rotate stock and perform basic quality checks to verify accuracy and product integrity.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist teammates with other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Follow all company safety rules and wear required PPE.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• Clear communication skills and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math ability.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and operate machinery for heavier loads.
