Epic Senior Analyst – Quality & Population Health

About the role

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department is seeking a full‑time Epic Senior Analyst focused on Quality and Population Health. The analyst will lead implementation, configuration, and optimization of Epic modules that support HEDIS, CMS Quality Payment programs, and other population‑health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, end‑users, and the application team to optimize Epic configuration, functionality, and access.
• Serve as the primary support contact for application end‑users and resolve service tickets.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex Epic applications.
• Lead testing phases and document workflow designs.
• Analyze clinical work processes, validate workflow impacts, and guide issue resolution.
• Support junior staff in daily operations, data retrieval, and application changes.
• Partner with trainers to create documentation and training strategies for new features.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, committees, and travel for go‑lives, conferences, and senior leadership meetings.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with Epic Quality and Population Health modules.
• Strong understanding of clinical quality measures such as HEDIS and CMS Quality Payment programs (MIPS, MVP, MACRA).
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and support junior staff.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and participate in on‑call duties.
