About the role
The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department is seeking a full‑time Epic Senior Analyst to lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of complex Epic applications. You will work closely with stakeholders, end‑users, and the application team to ensure the system meets clinical and business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize Epic configuration, functionality, and access.
- Serve as primary support contact for end‑users and manage service tickets.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Epic modules, including testing and workflow documentation.
- Analyze clinical work processes, validate workflow impacts, and guide issue resolution.
- Mentor junior staff in daily operations, data retrieval, and application changes.
- Partner with trainers to create documentation and training strategies for new features.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, project meetings, and relevant committees.
Required profile
- Proven experience with Epic systems in a healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess clinical workflows and system impacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting junior team members and leading issue resolution.
