Entry-Level Sustainability Consultant

About the role

Join a leading sustainability enterprise in New York as a Graduate Sustainability Consultant. You will work directly with corporate clients, real‑estate developers, and municipal agencies to help them achieve decarbonisation, resource‑efficiency, and compliance goals while receiving structured mentorship toward full independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and verifying Scope 1, 2, 3 greenhouse‑gas emissions inventories using enterprise sustainability software.
• Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams to analyse building‑scale data and support LEED, WELL, or local energy‑code certifications.
• Build and maintain data models that track client resource usage, focusing on water stewardship, waste diversion and energy efficiency.
• Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to identify and prioritise ESG materiality for corporate clients.

Required profile

• Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort managing large spreadsheets and data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical metrics into clear business insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
