Entry-Level Graphic Designer (Experiential)

About the role

CannonDesign’s Experiential Graphic Design team is looking for an entry‑level designer who can blend visual storytelling with practical problem‑solving. You will help translate client needs into compelling graphics, signage, and environmental experiences that connect people, brands, and spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Support all design phases from concept development to final artwork production.
• Create two‑ and three‑dimensional graphics, maps, wayfinding systems, and print layouts in collaboration with the environmental graphics team.
• Work directly with clients to interpret briefs and develop visual concepts.
• Produce photo visualizations, mockups, and camera‑ready files ready for fabrication.
• Coordinate with vendors and fabricators to ensure accurate implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field (required by hire date).
• Strong typographic foundation and experience from a student internship or similar role.
• Interest in 3‑D design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environmental graphics.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on Macintosh computers.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp (a plus).
