Entry-Level Designer – Community Environments

About the role

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking an entry‑level Designer to join its Community Environments market team in Seattle. You will contribute to the design and delivery of healthy, mixed‑use communities, supporting all phases from concept to construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in producing design deliverables such as field surveys, concept renderings, exhibits, preliminary plans, construction documents, and specifications.
• Develop working knowledge of concept design, design development, and construction documentation, including code studies, floor plans, elevations, sections, interior design details, schedules, and detailing.
• Provide administrative support for project teams, including meeting agendas, minutes, project trackers, and design logs.
• Deliver accurate work on schedule according to weekly work plans and direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in a professional architecture or interior design firm.
• General knowledge of professional design‑firm operations.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job‑related communications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with Sketch‑Up.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Affinity.
• Experience with V‑Ray.
• Experience with Enscape.
