About the role
We are looking for an entry-level Data Engineer to join our data team. In this role you will help design, build and maintain data pipelines that feed our analytics platforms. You will work closely with analytics and engineering teams to ensure data is reliable and ready for consumption.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines that move data from source systems to data warehouses.
- Transform, clean and enrich raw datasets to support analytical use cases.
- Collaborate with cloud data platform services to provision and optimise storage and compute resources.
- Provide support to analytics teams by delivering timely, high-quality data.
Required profile
- Basic understanding of relational databases and data modelling concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and data services.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team-oriented environment.
Required skills
- SQL
- Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Basic knowledge of Spark or Hadoop (a plus)
