Entry-Level Administrative Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, self‑motivated Administrative Assistant to support management operations in our Washington, DC office. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop strong administrative skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the manager and office staff.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare, edit, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
• Organize and maintain both electronic and physical filing systems.
• Monitor office supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate records and databases.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contacts while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor with a keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Proficient computer and data‑entry skills.
