Enterprise Platforms Leader, Finance & Human Capital

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Atlanta office is looking for a senior technology leader to own Certinia, the platform underpinning its global Finance and Human Capital functions. Certinia combines a vendor-provided SaaS solution with a substantial custom enterprise build on Salesforce and covers project and opportunity management, resource management, time entry and billing, financial management, integrations and security. The role leads an organization of 30+ people and reports to executive sponsors in the US and UK.

Key responsibilities

• Set the multi-year vision and roadmap for Certinia, driving a shift toward a more standardized product posture and reducing custom-build debt.
• Lead and develop a 30+ person organization across product management, solution specialists, platform engineering and agile delivery squads, working across global time zones.
• Serve as senior technology partner to the CIO, COO, FP&A and Human Capital leaders, and communicate trade-offs and progress at senior level.
• Own the relationship with the Certinia SaaS vendor and implementation partners, including contract negotiations, renewals and SOWs with Procurement and Legal.
• Own DevOps, release management and environment management, including CI/CD, branching and deployment strategy, sandbox and UAT, and incident, problem and change management.
• Own the platform's regulatory and compliance posture, including audits, data privacy, access controls and segregation of duties.
• Own the annual operating and investment budget and provide financial reporting and forecasting to IT and Finance leadership.
• Champion the integration of AI and agentic capabilities into core workflows.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Data, Infrastructure and IAM to keep the integration estate well-architected and resilient.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive technology leadership, including 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary delivery organizations of 20+ people.
• Proven success owning a business-critical enterprise platform end to end in a global, matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree or equivalent leadership/delivery experience.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with regular in-office presence and occasional international travel.
• Executive presence and the ability to explain technical complexity in business terms.

Required skills

• Direct experience leading delivery on Salesforce-based platforms at enterprise scale (Apex, Lightning, integration patterns, sandbox and org strategy).
• Deep familiarity with PSA platforms such as Certinia, and strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, event-driven architectures, middleware).
• Robust understanding of DevOps and release engineering on Salesforce, including CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Working knowledge of IT general controls (SOX-style frameworks, access management, segregation of duties, change management) and data privacy/security frameworks (GDPR, SOC 2).
• Familiarity with agile delivery at scale and product management.
• Preferred: prior experience in management consulting or similar firms, experience shifting a platform toward standardization, experience embedding AI or agentic capabilities, experience leading a major SaaS vendor relationship, and Salesforce or Certinia certifications.
