Engineering Technical Aide Internship (Long-Term)

About the role

The Engineering Technical Aide Intern will support the lifecycle of technical documentation, manage engineering databases, and assist with design dataset releases, gaining hands‑on experience with aerospace workflows and CATIA drafting.

Key responsibilities

• Search for and release technical documents in ADS/EDS database systems.
• Initiate, review, and maintain engineering documents, including numbering, formatting, and gathering signatures.
• Create Adobe PDF files, scan and file documents, and coordinate drawing distribution.
• Assist in developing presentation material and revise project‑related technical documents.
• Support functional review processes, design dataset releases, and maintain technical signature forms.

Required profile

• Current student pursuing a B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Located in the Wichita, KS metro area for an on‑site, multi‑semester internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
