Engineering Manager – Robotic Systems & Test

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Product Integration and Test team. You will turn stand‑alone software and hardware components into a unified autonomous product, drive the technical roadmap, and oversee real‑world testing on USV and UAV platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers working on autonomy projects.
• Lead the full integration lifecycle, combining software and hardware into system‑level products.
• Oversee development, integration, and deployment of autonomy solutions onto sensor‑rich platforms, vehicle autopilots, and third‑party components.
• Execute rigorous verification and validation using Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL), Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL), and real‑world deployments.
• Collaborate with platform teams, maintain configuration management, and ensure high‑quality, robust software delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in robotics, autonomy, or related fields.
• Strong background in product integration, system testing, and validation.
• Hands‑on experience with USV or UAV testing environments.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and cross‑team collaboration.
