Engineering Instructor (Full‑time)

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a full‑time Engineering Instructor to teach credited courses at Gwinnett Technical College. You will develop curricula, deliver instruction in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats, and support student success in mechanical and electrical engineering technology programs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for accredited engineering courses.
• Develop program outlines, goals, and syllabi aligned with industry standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure mastery of learning objectives.
• Maintain classroom supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and certification requirements.
• Participate in staff development, workshops, and recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering discipline or Master’s plus 18 graduate hours in the field.
• Post‑secondary teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering technology topics.
